PASM reads the road surface and adjusts damping continuously. Combined with rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring, the result is a car that responds to the road before the driver processes what they felt.
Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes are 50% lighter than steel and resist fade at extreme temperatures. First introduced on the Carrera GT in 2003, PCCB remains the benchmark for stopping performance in road cars over two decades later.
The Taycan uses an 800-volt electrical system — twice the voltage of most electric cars. This allows faster charging, less heat generation, and better sustained performance. It was developed directly from Porsche's experience in Formula E racing.
